Application And Research Of Ebru In Illustration Creation

This series of illustrations is called Crush which combines Abstract ebru with illustrations.It expressed intense and transient love that is full of contradictions and dramatics through the story of the painting and the emotions rendered by ebru.The purpose is not only to express more connotations and emotions through the different feelings brought by the decorative language of ebru,but also to enrich the author’s personal painting language.It has been discussed that the measure of combining abstract texture of ebru with the illustration.The author is looking forward is to provide new references for future illustration methods,and to inspire future illustrators in the creation of more possibilities.Starting from the emergence of comprehensive material illustration and ebru,this paper defines the purpose and significance of this study.It clarifies the contents and methods of the study,and then it makes a deep investigation into the existing situation of ebru and the situation of ebru in illustration creation by means of literature review and network information collection.There is few application of ebru in illustration in China.The author analyzed cases to understand different ways of how the illustrator combines ebru with illustration:the first method is to draw directly on ebru,the second method is to draw in advance,and then make suitable ebru materials to collage for later illustration.The design provides theoretical support and creative thinking.The paper mainly focused on researching the illustration as a comprehensive material of the ebru,the ebru in the illustration of the artistic language,the role of ebru in the illustration and other comprehensive decorative painting art language.Firstly,the special drawing materials and methods of the ebru are studied,which leads to the particularity of the ebru as a comprehensive material in illustration and the relationship between the ebru and the creation of illustration.Secondly,the different visual perceptions can be conveyed by the point,line,surface and color composition of the ebru are studied,so as to better use the ebru materials in the picture to express More meanings as a theoretical reference,and then summarize the role of ebru in illustration,and analyze the creative law of other comprehensive decorative paintings,to provide a realistic basis for the purpose of this creation.In the report on the creative process,it mainly expounds the creative concept and subject selection basis of the series of illustrations "Crush",the concrete implementation process of the Ebru in the series of illustrations,and the application and expression of the Ebru in the creation.From these three points,it analyzes how the theoretical research part is applied to the creative practice.
