Since the formation of Confucianism and Taoism in the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period,it had being China’s main ideology of our country.After two thousand years of development,it had been completely integrated into the national culture,becoming the core connotation of Chinese civilization,and also the inner personality of Chinese people.In the promotion of national science today,it had important practical significance Back to history to study the ancient people’s practice of Confucianism and Taoism.The thought of Confucianism and Taoism contradicted each other at the beginning of the formation,since the Han Dynasty,under the influence of the imperial power and politics,although they had all been the mainstream ideology,the contradiction between the two ideology was always existed.It was the most intense time which Confucianism and Taoism collide in the two hundred years of the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the scholars studied Confucianism and Taoism at the same time.The so-called Wei and Jin style,it can also be considered that the scholars of the Wei and Jin Dynasties formed an extraordinary and unpopular image through the practice of Confucianism and Taoism.Shishuo Xinyu as a book of scholar group portrait,contained a large number of relevant scholars demeanor and anecdotes,also had rich historical and literary values,it had always been respected by people.In this paper,analysised the practice of scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties to Confucianism and Taoism through the contradiction between thought and behavior and the mutual influence between them by the main data Shishuo Xinyu.The first chapter The performance of the scholars of the Wei and Jin Dynasties practise the thought of Confucianism and Taoism from Shishuo Xinyu:Studying on the Shishuo Xinyu.First of all,explained the practice of Confucian scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties combined with the typical behavior of the scholars from the three aspects of righteousness,loyalty and filial piety;secondly,explained the practice of Taoist thought by the scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties by combining the typical behavior of the scholars from the three aspects of nature,recluse,and the world tour;finally,analysised hesitation of Confucianism and Taoism caused by the collision of Confucianism andTaoism from the realistic performance of the scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.The second chapter Analysised of the reasons for the behavior of the scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties From the change of society,the transformation of political system,the development and evolution of the scholar class,the anxiety of the people of the scholars and so on.The third chapter The significance of scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties practise the Confucianism and Taoism:Firstly,formed a complementary personality of Confucianism and Taoism through the practice of Confucianism and Taoism;secondly,extended the eyes to later generations,combing the influence of this practice in the Wei and Jin Dynasties on the later generations;last,examined the practical significance of practising Confucianism and Taoism from the perspective of the new century.
