This dissertation takes 44 solo piano works with Northern Shaanxi style that have been officially published by 25 composers in China as the research object.The research almost covers all music ontology and different features that represented under the various periods and different backgrounds in contemporary and modern Chinese musical history,adopting taxonomy methods,morphological methods,historical methods,and comparative research methods.Through composers' different technical works and their own individual styles,knowing about the owner-member relationship not to be ignored between sociology,politics,opinions,economy and music creation form,content and techniques.Combing,summing up the senior composers that their combination of Northern Shaanxi traditional music and western multi-voice technique,inheriting the folk music tone,charm,performance of the national spirit of music composition made in the adaptation,adjustment,transformation and innovation.It has the rational view and thinking of the nationalization of the Chinese piano music creation,both the way out and the practice of localization exploration,and the theoretical significance of finding methods and ways for Ningxia folk music,which are closely related to northern Shaanxi musics are beneficial to the development and supplement of the study of the music works in this category,which will help the performers more accurate.At the same time,it is beneficial to expand and supplement the research of music works in this category,to help the players grasp the skills of piano playing in Northern Shaanxi style more accurately,and to enhance the aesthetic sense of art.This article uses the different creative features presented in different periods as the basis for the division of work and is divided into five chapters: the initial stage;re-creation of traditional techniques;10 years of the Great Cultural Revolution of China;the creation of parallelism between tradition and modernity;diversified creation in the new period.The preliminary conclusions are as follows: the form,content and technique of the piano solo works of Northern Shaanxi style are closely related to the background of thetimes;and through the continuous exploration of several generations of composers;in the practice of combining traditional music with western composing techniques in Northern Shaanxi.The application of folk music materials is suitable for the multi voice technique of expressing the meaning of Chinese music and the re-embodiment of the Chinese traditional music law in the multi-tone creation,which is worthy of reference by contemporary composers and has far-reaching influence on the innovative practice.
