| Under the guidance of generative teaching theory,this study regards the process of teaching Chinese to foreigners as a dynamic and complex one,in which some unexpected events occur.These unexpected events will affect teaching efficiency to some extent.If teachers deal with them improperly,it will hinder their classroom teaching.Based on the teaching practice,the writer studies the unexpected events taking place in the Chinese teaching classroom at Cambridge International School Cirebon,Indonesia through classroom observation,interview and case analysis,expecting that the study can help to solve the unexpected events problems and improve the development of Chinese teaching in this school.This study collects the unexpected events cases through classroom observation and interview.According to the origin and feature of the unexpected events,the writer divides the cases into unexpected events caused by teaching content and the ones caused by teaching environment.The results of the study show that the former ones are mainly caused by Chinese pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,Chinese character and text.The latter are primarily caused by internal classroom environment and external classroom environment.This study analyzes the reasons of the unexpected events in Chinese teaching classroon in this school from the aspects of students,teachers and teaching environment.Finally,some suggestions are put forward from the angels of pre-class,in-class and post-class.It is hoped that these suggestions can improve the comprehensive teaching ability of the teachers,and promote the development of Chinese teaching and provide guidance for the volunteer Chinese teachers who are going to work in this school. |
