Contemporary printmaking is not a static concept.There is no principle or law that must be observed.It is an ever-growing,organic whole,composed of a number of prints created by print makers from different regions and areas.It is a product of the current era.Contemporary printmaking is to combine the cultural spirit of current social life and draw on the strengths of other artistic expressions to construct the intrinsic nature and external performance of contemporary printmaking.The formal beauty that has now been formed and developed has also experienced these historical development processes and social practices.It is organized,summarized,and summed up in continuous creation and practice.It is a kind of “meaningful form” rooted in human society and has an independent aesthetic feature.Only in this way can the picture be harmonized and unified.The formal beauty of contemporary printmaking is not only the external appearance embodied in the picture,but also the carrier of subjective thoughts and emotions in human society.I combine my printmaking creation with the formal beauty,and from the different perspectives it contains and the various aspects associated with it,I specifically comprehend and analyze it to express the formal beauty I believe in contemporary printmaking.
