Discipline instructional design is a comprehensive “planning” and implementation scheme for English teachers to plan,implement,evaluate,and objectively reflect on curriculum or classroom teaching.Instructional design ability embodies the teacher's teaching philosophy,teaching strategy and teaching level,and influences whether the teacher's teaching is effective and whether the student's development can be implemented.Therefore,instructional design plays an important part in curriculum implementation,curriculum teaching,students' growth,and teachers' development.The effective training of teachers in instructional design strategies and methods,and the improvement of instructional design ability and level will be of great significance in promoting the reform of English language teaching,guiding the development of students' studies,and promoting the professional competence of teachers.Then,how to accurately understand instructional design,scientifically design the framework of instructional design,and systematically implement instructional design become pragmatic measures and realistic requirements for English subject teachers to effectively implement curriculum standards and promote self-development.Based on the above understanding and thinking,this research has carried out some beneficial attempts on the path of English instructional design and the improvement of teachers' instructional design ability.In the study,the author randomly selected 52 English subject teachers from 3 junior schools in XX counties(districts)of G city as research subjects,and used questionnaires,interviews,observations,and case(cases)as tool objects to focus on the subjects' understanding of instructional design.Conduct a comprehensive survey,classification,collation and comparison of the current status of implementation,instructional design,application,and effect,we found that there are the following problems in the understanding,structure,and systematic implementation of instructional design for teachers of junior school English subjects: English curriculum concepts and teaching concepts;attitudes and values of curriculum design,theory and methods of instructional design;the latitude construction and teaching design effectiveness evaluation of application;instructional design ability.Based on this,it proposes targeted promotion strategies: updating the English teacher curriculum curriculum concept;understanding the importance and value of teaching design;deepening the basic knowledge of teaching design theory learning;reading literature,drawing on domestic and foreign outstanding achievements;the evaluation method evaluates the effectiveness of instructional design.
