A Probe Into The Singing Of The Duet "Mira,O Norma" In The Opera《Norma》

"Norma" is one of the most famous works in Italian opera.It is also the most representative work of opera composer Bellini.Bellini has a great deal of attainments in the study of the canto.He plays an important role in the development of vocal music art.Therefore,the study of Bellini’s opera works can greatly improve the singer’s singing skills and artistic accomplishment.The duet "Mira,o Norma" is an important part of the opera "Norma" in which the heroines Norma and Adarquisha sing.I have sung this work,and have in-depth understanding of the work in the process of learning and stage performance.This paper uses three chapters to explore.The first chapter starts with the script to understand the background of opera creation and grasp the plot structure of opera.The second chapter discusses the role of "Mira,o Norma" in the role-shaping and musical characteristics of the whole play.The third chapter combines the singing analysis of the works to explore the coordination of duet singing.According to the exploration of Bellini’s renditions,it is helpful for vocal music learners to better grasp its music style,find a more appropriate way to shape the role,and improve vocal music singing level and artistic expression.
