Arthur Honegger(March 10,1892--November 27,1955)is a Swiss French composer of the neoclassical genre.In the history of Western music,Honegger’s name often appears alongside the name of the French “six-member group”,and he spends most of his time in Paris,but the composer is also very emotional about the origin of Switzerland;because of his early acceptance The education of traditional German music,so the work will have a sense of combination of German and French music.Honegger has a deep knowledge of the orchestral field and is good at expressing visual images with sound.His orchestra emphasizes the dramatic conflicts brought about by the music itself.The music language is pure and sophisticated,and it is very repulsive to the Wagner-style German symphony.Honegger’s five symphonies play a pivotal role in his music creation.He is also one of the important composers of French music after Debussy and Ravel.The Fifth Symphony was created in 1950.There are three movements,each of which has its own personality.This is an orchestral piece that the composer expresses his strong personality.Based on the analysis of music ontology,this thesis starts with the pitch organization of this symphony,and explores and summarizes the works in the structure of the music,the logical relationship of the pitch,the layout of the tone,the application of the alignment technique and the layout of the rhythm material.Regularity,to understand the artistic value of the last symphony of Honegger’s later years.
