Research On The Creative Techniques Of Chen Qigang's Large-scale Symphony Chorus "Jiangchengzi"

Jiangchengzi,a large-scale Symphony Chorus,is one of the most representative works of Chinese Symphony Chorus since the 21 st century created by Chinese composer Chen Qigang in 2018.In this work,the composer not only uses the composing techniques of western traditional music and modern music,but also combines the elements of Peking Opera,and uses ancient poems as lyrics,which is a model of the combination of Chinese and western.In this paper,the author divides the content into three chapters,which are structure and material,pitch relationship and orchestration.In terms of structure and materials,the author not only analyzes the works from multiple perspectives,but also explains the basic motivation materials and the derived melody materials of the works,and explores the relationship between the latter and the former.In the aspect of harmony and tonality,inspired by the method of fixed chord marking and polyphonic music,the author conceives and uses a chord marking method to analyze the composition of non-traditional chords in this work,which is called composite chord marking method by the author.After that,the author also analyzes the non-traditional chords and the parts with clear tonality.In the aspect of orchestration,it not only analyzes the rhyme and white aria of the solo part,but also expounds the relationship between the vocal part and the band in the work.In addition,the author also analyzes the composer's special notes in the score.
