Study On Minimalist Poster Design

Minimalism was born in the 1960 s and is one of the western modern art schools.Minimalism opposes the style of decoration,in its form of simple and clear,the pursuit of highly rational and functionalized design concept,since its birth,quickly permeated and affected various fields.In recent years,with the rapid development of economic society,continuous innovation of information age,more and more cities will be the image of the city design,to the public as a important means to promote their own social and even the world,and the image of the city design can not only reveal the development orientation and the core status of the city,you can also in this way to show the city after a long time change,formed by the historical precipitation and cumbersome change of urban landscape.In this environment,under the demand of poster design with its simple and practical,flexible and varied,the characteristics of the information in the form,become one of the main ways to promote city image design,cognitive,and accepted by people and widely used.Suzhou,which has a history of more than 4,000 years,has accumulated rich cultural achievements and profound humanistic history.This thesis will start from Suzhou city image poster design,to analyze all kinds of cultural and artistic feature of Suzhou city,combined with excellent examples of many design,poster of minimalism city image formation process and the basic conditions,constituent elements and visual language,the main graphics ideas and techniques,cultural connotation and artistic feature aspects has carried on the thorough theory research and case analysis,and on this basis,the minimalist city image poster design puts forward some personal opinions.
