Paul Hindemith was a representative German composer in the 1930 s and 1940 s.He was persecuted during the war,his work was banned and he was exiled under the pressure of the Nazi government.This thesis takes the representative opera "Cardillac" as the research object,starting from the comparison between the two versions of opera music and Taiwanese,and then extending the study of the current social situation at that time,in order to explain the works of Hindemith opera and The connection between the times and the environment,so as to accurately reveal the social value and ideological connotation of its musical works.This article has four chapters.The first chapter is about the background of the characters,and introduces the various experiences of Hindemith from childhood to old age and his opera creation.The second chapter is the key chapter.From the two aspects of Taiwan and music,the two versions of the opera are compared in detail.The third chapter is a brief introduction to the social background of the 1930 s and 1930 s and the 40 s and 50 s.It is mainly divided into three parts: the international background,the domestic environment and the personal experience of the composer to extract the fourth chapter and conclusions.The fourth chapter sublimates the contents of the first three chapters,introduces other representative works of Hindemith,and reveals the social value of music from the ideological connotation of his musical works.The purpose of this paper is to reveal the influence of social historical factors on the composer's creation and the current social and historical status reflected by the composer's music works through the comparison of opera works and the analysis of other music works.
