| Objectives:The researches about learning motivation has a long time,the aim of this study is through a more positive view,researching present learning motivation development situation and the mechanism of action in junior high school students groups,hoping to achieve the following objectives:1.To research the present situation and character of social support,basic psychological needs and learning motivation of junior high school students.2.To explore the relationship between the learning motivation,basic psychological needs and learning motivation of junior high school students.3.To examine the mediation effect of basic psychological needs between social support and learning motivation.Methods:Using social support scale,basic psychological needs scale and learning motivation scale to investigate the social support level,basic psychological needs and learning motivation level of 767 junior high school students.Results:1.In terms of the scale score,the junior high school students’ average score of social support scale is 64.33,basic psychological needs score is 92.05 and learning motivation scale score is 44.22,all these are higher than theory of average level.2.In terms of demographic differences,there is a significant difference in social support on grade,single or not and source of orgin at the 0.05,0.01,0.001 level.There is a significant difference in basic psychological needs on grade,single or not and source of orgin at the 0.05,0.001 level.There is a significant difference in learning motivation on source of orgin at the 0.001 level.3.In terms of relevance,there is a significant positive correlation between junior high school students’ social support and basic psychological needs(r=0.605,p<0.01),there is a significant positive correlation between basic psychological needs and learning motivation(r=0.362,p<0.01),and there is a significant positive correlation between social support and learning motivation(r=0.442,p<0.01).4.In terms of the mediating role,the basic psychological needs have a partial mediating effect between social support and learning motivation,and the mediating effect is 25.49%.On specific dimensions,the attribution and autonomic needs dimension have partial mediation effect between social support and internal and external learning motivation.Competency needs dimension has a partial mediation effect between social support and internal learning motivation,and there is no significant mediation effect between social support and external learning motivation.Conclusions:1.The development of junior high school students’ social support,basic psychological needs and learning motivation are at a good level.2.There are demographic differences in social support,basic psychological needs,and learning motivation of junior high school students.3.There is a significant positive correlation between junior high school students’social support,basic psychological needs and learning motivation.4.Basic psychological needs have partial mediation between social support and learning motivation... |
