A Study On The Teaching Of English Writing In Rural Primary Schools

The opening of English class in new age primary school is a necessary requirement for social growth,and it is a necessary requirement for the era of knowledge economy to better develop and integrate with international development.Compulsory education English course needs to cultivate students’ preliminary comprehensive language skills.In today’s rural primary school English teaching,English small composition in the primary school English exam scores of the bigger and bigger,English writing has become a primary school in the full period of students’ English learning a part of the increasingly important.Primary school students English writing is one of the most can reflect the students to learn grammar and vocabulary of English comprehensive ability of an output,also can flexible use of English for elementary school students thinking of a way of examination.But in the English teaching of rural primary schools,teachers often ignore the training of "write".Therefore,how to improve the English writing ability of primary school students is the research that every English teacher must do.In this paper,through methods of investigation and research,analyzes the wuchuan city good omen the elementary school higher grades of English composition teaching development present situation,problems and further improvement measures are suggested,such as,the main results are as follows:The rural primary school teaching of English writing less attention,there are individual teachers think English writing for rural primary school students really is too difficult for students to grow up,ascended on high school training will not be late again.They think that listening and speaking are the most important things in primary school,so they devote most of their time and energy to listening,speaking and reading.It’s usually done by the end of each class or after the class.Most of the rural primary school students there are many difficulties in English writing,the most prominent problem can be summarized as: flexible vocabulary is too little,can’t use of grammar knowledge,are not interested in the content of the English writing.Based on the above analysis,the countermeasures to improve the English writing in rural primary schools: enlarge vocabulary,accumulate English writing materials,solid English writing training,and improve writing evaluation.Rural primary school full period of English composition teaching must be from the actual characteristics of rural primary school students,learning ideas and teaching methods,eliminate some old,boring teaching means,facing all students,combining students’ physical and mental development,attach importance to students’ individual character development,diluting the students "afraid" strange mood to write English composition,transferring real English composition teaching to implement the primary school English new curriculum standard.
