A Study Of Love And Marriage Poems Of The Book Of Songs From The Perspective Of “Poetry CAN Be Viewed”

The Book of Songs is a collection of poetry.It has a strong realistic style of writing,and because of this reason,it has preserved until now.There are many poems in this book that describe the people’s love life,marriage life and family life in the Zhou Dynasty.This kind of poetry not only has a great advantage in quantity,but also reflects the people’s love life and marriage life in the Zhou Dynasty.It attracts scholars of all ages.This kind of poetry,scholars call them “love and marriage poetry”.“Love and marriage poetry” is a general term for the poems describing love topics,marriage themes,and family life in the book of songs.Academic circles have devoted great enthusiasm to the study of the love and marriage poetry of The Book of Songs.In the study of the Book of Songs for more than 2,000 years,scholars of various ages have used various methods and from multiple perspectives to study the “love and marriage poetry”.The research results are also fruitful.Represented by Confucius’ “ poetry can be viewed ” theory,both the ancient Chinese literary theories and the modern foreign literary theories have explained the “imitation-reproduction ”relations between literature and social history.This gives us a theoretical basis,we can from this point,observing the culture of the Zhou Dynasty by reading the Book of Songs.Therefore,I chose to study the “love and marriage poetry” in the Book of Songs from this perspective.The full text consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part.It mainly discusses the significance of the topic and the structure of the article and summarizes the research results of the domestic and foreign scholars on the “love and marriage poetry ”of the Book of Songs.It also divides the scope of the“love and marriage poetry”of the Book of Songs defined in this thesis.The second chapter mainly discusses the poetic proposition of “poetry can be viewed”.At the same time,it uses the theory of“Four Factor Theory” proposed by Professor M.H.Abrams of the United States.The third chapter mainly discusses the love culture of the Zhou Dynasty from the “love and marriage poetry” of the Book of Songs.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the Marriage culture of the Zhou Dynasty from the“love and marriage poetry”.The fifth chapter mainly discusses abandoned women’s culture of the Zhou Dynasty from the “love and marriage poetry”.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and summary of the research results of this thesis.
