The Technical Expression Of Iron Oxide Pigment In The Creation Of Painted Mural

Based on the color modeling of iron oxide pigments in painted frescoes,this paper combs the use of early natural iron pigments in painted frescoes domestic and overseas,and discusses the technical performance of iron oxide pigments on different ground layers.The article mainly consists of three parts.The first part is an overview of iron oxide pigments.This chapter demonstrates the characteristics of pigments and compares the advantages and disadvantages between iron oxide pigments and other pigments.Finally,the feasibility of applying iron oxide pigments to painted murals was explored by fusing iron oxide pigments with different media.The second part is the production of modern simple ground layer,which explores the technical performance of iron oxide pigments on the basis of reality.The third part explores the diversity and applicability of iron oxide pigment techniques on the basis of inheriting traditional fresco techniques.Firstly,iron oxide pigments are selected to create on different ground layers.Through comparison,the unique color modeling and line modeling techniques of iron oxide pigments are summarized.The characteristics of alkali resistance,acid resistance,coloring force and strong covering power of iron oxide pigments are fully utilized,and the new language of painting frescoes is further explored.
