From the beginning of the Little Theater Beijing Opera "Water before Ma" in2000,the contemporary small theatre opera has passed nearly 20 years,from the initial controversial start and the stage of exploration to the gradual popularization and development now.Small theatre opera has gradually become the most acceptable form of modern opera for young urban audience.With the help of small theatre opera,the theme and structure of the classic drama of Euripides in ancient Greece,"Medea",was created in the form of "FuZiHua".The plot and characters were re-created,especially for Euripides’ "psychological description",which was further magnified in the form of opera,so that it could be fully displayed.The charm of Chinese opera art.This article combines his own creation to explore the eastern expression of western classical works,with linear narrative,stylized,line and virtual and real techniques,to complete the remolding of the image of Medea characters.And the reflection and discussion on the proposition of "love",taking modern consciousness as the main theme,deeply focusing on the deep revealing of human nature and pondering on the value of life,in order to achieve the pursuit of modern aesthetic appreciation of opera.
