As a prolific and changeable contemporary writer,Su Tong occupies an important position in Chinese contemporary literature with his colorful creative style and rich thematic content. His works can be roughly summed up into four series: "Xiangchun Street" under the juvenile initiation novel.Family Fable Novels with the Background of "Fengyangshu Township",its spiritual hometown.A series of "red pink" novels about women's tragic fate,as well as realistic novels expressing the spiritual predicament of modern people."Trauma" appears in different degrees in these different series of novels."Trauma" is a motif of Chinese and foreign literary creation.Starting from human life experience,it has become a major way for writers to imagine the world. From the point of view of trauma, this paper combines the writer's childhood trauma experience with close reading of the text, and based on the dimension of life trauma of individuals and groups, analyses the physical trauma and mental trauma of characters, and explores the cultural connotation and humanistic care of Su Tong's trauma writing. The introduction reviews the current research situation of Su Tong's novels, and points out the content and significance of this study. The text is divided into five parts to discuss the traumatic writing in Su Tong's novels. The first part analyses the relationship between Su Tong's traumatic experience and literary writing, mainly based on the influence of Su Tong's traumatic experience in childhood on his traumatic writing. The second part is the presentation of diseases in Su Tong's trauma theme.Disease,as an important symptom of trauma,is an important dimension of trauma writing.Su Tong's novel characters suffer from a large number of diseases. This part mainly chooses the three most common diseases in his works, namely, venereal disease, physical disability and mental madness,to analyze the physical and mental trauma caused by diseases. The third part explores the demonstration of violence in Su Tong's trauma theme. This chapter takes violence as the breakthrough point, involving four dimensions of violence.Sexual violence under primitive desire, revolutionary violence under political background, feudal traditional cultural violence under historical and cultural factors, and cold violence under loveless families. It specifically analyzed the juvenile trauma, female trauma, family trauma, identity trauma, human trauma, family trauma and other multi-dimensional trauma caused by these kinds of violence. The fourth part discusses the traumatic experience of life from the perspective of death. It can be divided into two aspects. The first aspect demonstrates Su Tong's questioning of the meaning of life and his nihilistic outlook on life through a large number of Suicide Phenomena and sudden and accidental death of the characters in the novel. The second aspect is the analysis of the incomplete death: the destruction of the character's spirit, which still expresses the author's questioning of survival under the trauma of life. The fifth part analyses the cultural significance of trauma writing in Su Tong's novel creation. From the two aspects of the instinctive action of "escape"and "the most important thing of life",from the individual life experience to the living state of the group, this paper explores the cultural connotation and human concern in Su Tong's trauma writing.
