There is a close relationship between society and culture.Society is constantly developing and changing. At the same time, culture is constantly developing and changing. In order to integrate with the members of a country,to understand the values and habits of the members of the country, and to understand the culture of the country is essential its culture first.Culture is reflected in every corner of society. To understand society,we must first understand language. When learning a language,it is impossible to understand it if we respect and understand foreign cultures but at the same time are reluctant to understand the culture.Society, language and culture are so closely related. Now China is developing continuously.Students from all over the world have come to China.Take my mother tongue and my culture to learn new languages and cultures. Most of these people are young people in their twenties and thirties. They want to know what is happening in the world society and how the world is changing.Cultural courses should adapt to this change. From the existing Chinese cultural courses, there are quite a lot of parts about Chinese traditional culture, and only a simple introduction about modern culture. As mentioned earlier, with the rapid change of modern society, culture is also changing rapidly. But the content of modern culture curriculum and modern culture is very few.The author has also mentioned the importance of contemporary cultural education when looking at the previous papers on the preference degree of Chinese cultural courses, but there is still some research space. Therefore, the author takes J international students’ preference for Chinese culture as the research object, through the study to understand the real situation of students. In the process of this study,we are not confined to grasping the degree of students’ preferences as the research perspective, but from multiple perspectives to study and analyze the overall situation of cultural courses. The questionnaire consists of three parts: students’ educational status, learning motivation and educational satisfaction. For further research and analysis from multiple perspectives,on this basis,it is divided into three categories: cultural curriculum,Chinese culture, language and culture. In terms of learning motivation,it can also be roughly divided into four representative motivations: intrinsic motivation, confirmation motivation, excessive motivation and external motivation. In addition,in-depth interviews were conducted in addition to the questionnaire survey, referring to students’ more targeted opinions and suggestions, which made the research results of this paper more objective, authentic and credible. In fact, new cultures are being created. However, according to this change,it is not easy for teachers to compile new textbooks, familiarize themselves with new cultures and make lectures. This paper investigates and analyses the current situation of Chinese culture education, and concludes that if the existing traditional culture and modern culture are well integrated, foreign students will be more interested in and adapt to Chinese, and more interested in China. The purpose of this paper is to focus on the analysis of the current preference of international students for cultural courses in Jilin University,by understanding students’ requirements and ideas. In the end,in order to improve the effective Chinese culture course in the future,I would like to propose several suggestions and directions to point out the direction.
