The report on the 19th CPC National Congress gives priority to education endeavor and the building of an education powerhouse.Academic conferences convey Chinese voice and connect China's education undertaking with that of the rest of the world.Against this backdrop,The 19th Northeast China Annual Conference of the China English Language Education Association was held in Liaoning University.Speakers discussed the difficulties in English teaching and shared education and research results.Focusing on the speeches on The 19th Northeast China Annual Conference of the China English Language Education Association,this simulate simultaneous interpreting practice interprets Chinese into English.Based on the analysis of the speeches,the author found two difficulties causing the improper interpreting of targeted language,i.e.loose structure and redundant information.This report reflected the whole process of this mock simultaneous interpreting practice.Through the analysis of the transcript,the author shed light on specific cases of this task.Following the guidance of the rule of coherence of the Skopos Theory,the author used amplification and omission to address difficulties in this task as a way to expand the application of this theory.
