| Primary English textbooks play is a kind of the performance of their own for teachers and students together.First of all,it is the premise of the textbook drama performance to complete the adaptation of the textbook drama script.The primary school English textbook play adaptation material mainly comes from the textbook text,can be adapted by the students to form the script work.A successful textbook play must have a good script.Textbook drama plays directly affect the performance of textbook drama,it is a vital part,but also the fundamental and soul of textbook drama performance.The adaptation of an excellent English textbook play is a must for a textbook play.It has to meet the needs of the pupils to perform and to have the special character of the textbook play itself.This paper mainly adopts literature method,questionnaire method,interview method and case study method.Based on the present situation and combined with the teaching practice,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 250 students in the fourth,fifth and sixth grades of S Primary School,and six English teachers were interviewed individually,and the case of the adaptation of the script about the adaptation of the textbook drama in S School was sorted out.In-depth understanding of primary school English textbook drama adaptation of the current teaching situation.Through the investigation and research on the present situation of English textbook drama adaptation teaching in S primary school of S City,it is found that the adaptation content is limited,the material selection is lack of performance,and the teacher points out that the adaptation of English textbook drama adaptation in S city primary school has some limitations.There are some problems in the teaching and application of textbook drama adaptation in primary school,such as improper selection of textbook play adaptation material,insufficient teachers’guidance in textbook drama adaptation teaching,insufficient revision of textbook drama script,and lack of regular evaluation of textbook drama adaptation teaching.The author thinks that the reasons for the problems are as follows:teachers lack of understanding of textbook drama adaptation,lack of theory,and the complexity of textbook drama adaptation itself is also the cause of the problem,the author thinks that the reasons for the problem are as follows:teachers’lack of understanding of textbook drama adaptation,lack of theory,There is not enough time for the play to be adapted from the textbook.On this basis,the author puts forward six aspects of optimization measures to provide some references for the adaptation of English textbook drama.First of all,teachers should be encouraged to learn relevant theories. |
