Achievement text plays an important role in the teaching process.Similarly,Chinese achievement test is also an indispensable part of Chinese international education.If Chinese is viewed as a second language in the teaching system,its achievement test can not only test the performance of teachers,but also affect the adjustment of the whole teaching plan.Chinese achievement test shows whether a student promotes during a stage of learning.For teachers and students,Chinese achievement test is a criteria for evaluation of teaching and learning.In the one-year teaching internship,the author found that Chinese achievement test can effectively promote the teaching,but that many problems still exit during its implementation process,which indicates that there is still room for improvement of achievement test.Therefore,the targeted achievement Test has a certain research value.This paper takes the students majoring in primary Chinese of the Royal Institute of Technology in Northeastern Thailand as the research object.From the staged tests,the most frequently contacted in my teaching process,the author adopted such approaches as questionnaire,the analysis of specific content in the test and the statistical analysis of the data to analyse contents,methods,and performance such as effects and deficiencies in the tests at different stages as quiz,mid-term,and final test.Through the analysis of many situations reflected in the test,the problems of testing and teaching arise.The lack of close integration of various tests,the subjective evaluation of teachers and the attitude of students at random contribute to changes and attention from teachers and students in the teaching and testing.In the end,some practical and feasible solutions are proposed,which provide some reference for the basic teaching and testing toward the students learning primary Chinese in Thailand in order to inspire those to go to Thailand as Chinese teachers and attract teachers’ attention to the achievement test.
