| In recent years,the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand’s universities is good,and the research on the current situation of Chinese teaching in universities is growing rapidly and abundant.However,there are few articles specifically aimed at the current situation of Chinese Teaching among Universities in Northeast Thailand.This paper chooses 350 Chinese learners from 7 universities in Northeast Thailand,including Mahasharakan University,Rajabhat Mahasharakan University,Rajabhat Uwen University,Kong Jing University,Rajabhat Urontani University,Rajabhat Liyi University,and Rajabhat University of Technology of Northeast Thailand as the subjects of this study.Through questionnaires and personal interviews,the Chinese Teaching condition of college in this area is evaluated,and a thorough investigation was carried out.The paper mainly focuses on the school,teachers,students and textbooks of seven universities in the region.The survey found that the seven universities in Northeast China have yet to be strengthened in management.For example,Chinese teaching is not enough,there is a general lack of Chinese syllabus,improper teaching schedules,and poor teacher management system.The problems of teachers are: teachers’ professional literacy is generally not high,teaching experience is seriously lacking,teachers lack communication,and teaching methods are rigid.The problem with students is that their motivation for learning is less clear,their internal motivations are insufficient,and external motivations are variable;the motivation for integration is lagging behind,and the motivation for tools is not strong.The performance of the attitude is not positive,the fear is difficult to push,the half-way phenomenon is more serious,the concentration of the classroom is not high,and the phenomenon of late arrival and early departure is also worrying.The use of learning strategies is also not optimistic.Many students are not using enough cognitive strategies and metacognitive strategies.Students rely on compensation strategies and do not know much about social strategies.The supply of teaching materials is insufficient and the content is outdated and cannot meet the needs of students.Based on the research on Chinese teaching in seven colleges and universities in the region,the paper puts forward suitable suggestions.First of all,the school should strengthen the emphasis on Chinese teaching;jointly prepare Chinese syllabus;reasonably arrange teaching time;strengthen teacher supervision.Secondly,teachers should strive to improvetheir own literacy;focus on cultivating their own Chinese teaching ability;strengthen teaching reflection and improve teaching methods.Thirdly,students should make internal motivation the primary influencing factor of learning,and at the same time take advantage of the influence of external motivation;students should correct Chinese learning attitudes,overcome difficulties,persevere;learn to parallel,learn Chinese easily;concentrate thoughts,overcome laziness.Strengthen metacognitive strategies,make good use of cognitive strategies;use compensation strategies and common social strategies.Learners should use the motivation of instrumental motivation for the purpose of merging motivation.Finally,expand the source of the materials;update the materials in a timely manner,paying attention to the needs of students.The Chinese language teaching in the context of Sino-Thai cooperation has now developed into the mainstream trend of Chinese teaching in Thailand.The seven universities in this survey are also involved.The paper concludes with immature insights on project development issues and is for reference only. |
