| Language instruction,as a significant component of classroom teaching,is not only a way for teachers to impart knowledge,but also an important source for students to acquire knowledge,which can both improve the language output of learners,and enhance the interaction between teachers and students.The high-quality communication and interaction between teachers and students directly affect the quality of classroom teaching.With the help of improved Flanders Interaction Analysis System(referred iFIAS)and based on the study of four Tianjin English Double-Excellence classes,this thesis aims to explore the following four questions:(1)What is the classroom structure of high-quality English reading class in senior high school?(2)What is the tendency of teachers’ teaching speech style in senior high school high-quality English reading class?(3)What is the emotional atmosphere of teachers-students interaction in senior high school high-quality English reading class?(4)What is the teaching mode of high-quality English reading class in senior high school?The results show that:firstly,teachers still play the core role in teaching.And students’ ability to initiate dialogue still needs to be improved.Secondly,teachers tend to exert direct influence and positive reinforcement on students,and the proportion of indirect influence of classroom speech needs to be improved.Thirdly,the interactive atmosphere between teachers and students is harmonious,but some teachers ignore the change of students’ emotions.Finally,teachers prefer the training-oriented classroom teaching mode.The most typical interaction behavior are still teachers’ lecture and students’ passive answersHereby,this thesis puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Adjusting the role orientation of teachers and students.(2)Emphasizing the inspiration and motivation of teachers’ speech.(3)Giving attention to students’ emotions.(4)Optimizing the questions and arousing students’ thinking. |
