| Taiwanese opera originates from Taiwan province,China,the forming and development of which is closely related with folk culture of southern Fujian and Taiwan.First of all,the libretto of Taiwanese opera is a combination of written language and dialect of southern Fujian,its content was originally based on folklore in southern Fujian,and its melody came from Zhangzhou Jin Songs.With the migration of southern Fujian,Zhangzhou Jin Songs took root in Taiwan province,providing the foundation for development of Taiwanese opera.Then,with the development of localization,Taiwanese opera absorb the element of other traditional opera existed in Taiwan,making its content and melody more diversified.Therefore,Taiwanese opera was welcomed and spread by Chinese groups in Taiwan province,southern Fujian and Southeast Asia,and formed a culture circle of overseas fans.Therefore,Taiwanese opera not ouly enriches the entertainment life of Chinese community at home and abroad,but also plays a positive role in promoting the overseas cohesion and dissemination of Chinese culture.Although the history of Taiwanese opera is short,the development of it is rough.Taiwanese opera had encountered many things such as the criticism of local elite culture,the oppression of Japanese colonialism and the impact of contemporary pop culture and foreign culture.Even so,Taiwanese opera can still break through many difficulties and gain itself a place as well as reserve the essence of folk art.In a manner of speaking,Taiwanese opera is still a developing art,and constantly updating and improving.While sticking to the traditional folk art form,it can explore new possibilities for the future development.Therefore,the opera itself is a cultural resource worthy of study and research.The study of its origin and development is not only conductive to the understanding of Fujian and Taiwan folk culture,but also provides several means of transformation and development for other local operas,and motivation for the development of Chinese folk art.In addition,the Taiwanese opera was developed into an independent form of art from Jin Songs,and then passed back to the mainland through cross-strait exchanges,and created Xiang opera in the southern part of Fujian.This unique cultural phenomenon shows that both sides of the Taiwan Straits share the same root and inseparable.As an artistic carrier,Taiwanese opera not only undertake the tasks and missions of Taiwan’s cultural inheritance and dissemination,but also provides a variety of artistic methods for cross-strait cultural exchanges.Judging from the art exchange activities of the Taiwanese operas over the years,the Taiwanese opera has contributed its strength to the preservation and presentation of language and folk beliefs,and has played a positive role in the collective participation and cohesion of the people on both sides of the strait.In view of this,this article will discuss the relationship between Taiwanese opera and folk culture.By combining the history and development track of the birth of Taiwanese opera,analyze the inheritance and development of folk culture in Taiwanese opera.And through the discussion of the method of the contemporary transformation of Taiwanese opera,find out the possibility of future development of Taiwanese opera and other local drama.In the end,through the analysis of the successful cases of the transformation of Taiwanese opera,find transformation strategies for contemporary local drama.The article is divided into the following parts:The first chapter is the introduction part,discusses the origin and significance of the article research,combs and summarizes the literature at home and abroad,and introduces the research methods and the focus of the article.The second,third and fourth chapters are the main part of the article.They focus on the study of the origin of the opera,the inheritance and development of folk culture,and the way of transformation and development of Taiwanese opera.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the dilemma of the development of Taiwanese opera and local drama and proposes contemporary development strategies.The final conclusion is aimed at summarizing the full text and looking forward to the future of the loeal opera. |
