A Study Of The Concealment And Appearance Law Of The Structural Auxiliary Word "De" In Modern Chinese

This paper mainly investigates the concealment and appearance law of the structural auxiliary word "de" in modern Chinese,and describes three situations which are concealment of "de",appearance of "de",concealment or appearance of "de" after adverbial modifier.This paper considers that the mandatory syntax and semantics are factors that restrict the usage of "de",and the selective pragmatics is a factor that influences the usage of "de".This article is divided into four chapters to investigate the concealment and appearance law of the structural auxiliary word "de".The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the research scope and research significance of this paper,and explains the source of the corpus.The second chapter is a research summary,clarifying the existing research achievements in the academic world and discovering the shortcomings from it,which leads to the research ideas of this paper.The third chapter mainly investigates the concealed and apparent conditions of "de".Based on the adverbial component,it is described in three parts which are concealment of "de",appearance of "de",concealment or appearance of "de".The last chapter explains the reasons of concealment and appearance law of "de" from three perspectives:syntax,semantics and pragmatics.This paper holds that syntax and semantics restrict the use of "de".Syntactically,the different attributes of restrictive adverbials and descriptive adverbials restrict the concealment and appearance law of "de",and the mark function of "de" contributes to clarify the syntactic structure.Semantically,the difference in the semantic orientation of adverbials is another motivation that restricts the concealment and appearance law of "de".Pragmatics affects the use of "de".When "de" can conceal or appear,the concealment and appearance law of "de" are mainly related to the principle of prominence,the principle of rhythm and the linguistic stylistic style.
