A Study On The Creation Of Animation Short Film Adapted From The Novel Border City

This paper analyzes and studies the adaptation from literary works to animated works to understand the connotation behind the words.The adaptation of literary works to animation should not only stay on the surface of films,but also provide insights for domestic and foreign animation adaptation and production through analysis,research and summary.In animation films,adaptation has a long history and is still in use today.For example,"the lion king","mulan","mother ghost","return of the great sage" and other adaptations are all literary works.Generally speaking,there are four steps for the adaptation of literary works.First,the story should be thoroughly understood;second,the content of the adaptation should determine the audience;third,the positioning of animation style should be clear;and finally,the production process should be clear.Through this adaptation-based animation creation,I have a deep understanding of the animation production process and emotions,especially the production,and a detailed understanding of the complex process of animation from literary works to finished films.
