Toshio Hosokawa(1955-),one of the contemporary composers who can represent Japan,based his creation on the Japanese traditional music,aesthetics and western pioneer composition technology,and on this basis,inherited and developed the "holon" techniques of composer Isang Yun.In Isang Yun and Klaus Huber,under the influence of two tutors teach and his deeper study Japanese music,make their works reflects the understanding of Japanese traditional culture and moral guide,the "holon" techniques is Hosokawa’s works reflect the important carrier of a large number of elements to Japan,at the same time,the main sound techniques of personalized use also became one of his personal style.Based on the literature review of Hosokawa and the "holon" techniques,this paper will supplement and perfect the basic theoretical knowledge of the "holon" techniques,analyze the use of the "holon" techniques in his representative works in different periods through the analysis of works,and deeply discuss the role of "holon" techniques in the formation of structures.The main body of this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is mainly to comb and supplement the basic theory of the “holon”techniques,and introduce the individuality processing in the “holon” technique of Hosokawa.Studying abroad in the second chapter is based on the "Aki no ta no..." in the work "Renka I" of Hosokawa’s study abroad,aiming at the embodiment of the "holon",the pitch organization method,the sound pattern and musical form.The third chapter analyzes the masterpiece "Landscape I" in the middle of the creation from the "Mutterakkord" to the pitch control of the "holon",the characteristics of the decorative components and musical form.The fourth chapter of this paper music analyzes Hosokawa’s masterpiece "Woven Dreams" in the mature period,and analyzes the change of "holon",the composition of decorative elements and the structure of the musical form from the perspective of the control of the pitch of the whole song by the "octatonic scale".The fifth chapter starts from the "holon" and decorative components,carries on the comprehensive discussion on the three-dimensional structure layout of the above three works,and analyzes the role of each element of the "holon" technique in the structure generation.
