Toshio Hosokawa is one of the rare Japanese modern composers who is rich in creative talent,profound in thought,and unifies Japanese national aesthetics with advanced composition technology.In his works,he used a lot of orchestration techniques to express his inner feelings and inheritance and development of Japanese national culture.He obtained the basic means of music development and creation in the study of western traditional music techniques.Later,the in-depth study of modern creation techniques in the 20 th century became an important technique for him to write polyphonic music and band works.With the continuous application and exploration,Toshio Hosokawa has further developed the orchestration technology,integrated the "main sound" creation techniques into his music creation,and formed the theoretical basis of the "maternal and fetal sound" with personal characteristics.At the same time,it combines Japanese traditional culture to form a national music element with personal characteristics and a creative style with logical musical language.The application of orchestration technology by contemporary composers is an important means other than tonal music and harmony function.Whether it can be used and integrated into the national music language is an important test for every contemporary composer and composition theory researcher.At the same time,it plays a reference role in the development and thinking of the national music.Therefore,the in-depth analysis and research of orchestration techniques has important practical significance and value.The "Vision" series created by Toshio Hosokawa show the characteristics of oriental culture while integrating the modern creative techniques with logical thinking in the West.This paper takes Vision Ⅲ as the main research object,analyzes its orchestration thinking and creation techniques as the starting point,studies the treatment of its internal orchestration technology,timbre sound,"main sound" application,pitch organization technology and other music elements in music creation,explores how Toshio Hosokawa reflects his national music voice in music creation,and then analyzes Japanese traditional culture,Study its far-reaching influence on the creation of local composers.This question is divided into three movements:The first movement: introduction of Toshio Hosokawa’s life,representative works in different periods,various awards and the creation background of Vision ⅢThe second movement: the band’s writing skills,the band’s organization,and the polyphonic writing skills are discussed,and the personal creation characteristics and ideas of Toshio Hosokawa are summarized.The third movement.The understanding of Japanese traditional culture,combined with the historical context,explores the cultural origin of the "main sound",and discusses the spiritual pursuit of Toshio Hosokawa’s reference and development of eastern and western creative technology,integrating the national culture and integrating nature and music.
