The Ming and Qing Dynasties was an important period for Hakkas moving to Southeast Asia,it involves political,economic and social reasons.Hakkas migrants generally experienced three periods,the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties,the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties,and the late Opium War.The distribution of Hakka people and their occupational status have a close relationship with their culture spreading.Hakka people spread material culture and spiritual culture.They introduced new technologies,new species and new management methods which promoted local socio-economic development.Under the background of the spread of Chinese Confucian culture abroad,the "harmonious culture " of Hakka is also rapidly spreading overseas.Hakka also has its own characteristics in the spread of culture.The first characteristic reveals the spread of culture is the selective culture communication spreading.The second characteristic illustrates the integration of Chinese culture and local culture,and Hakka culture has its own unique cultural characteristics.Cultural spreading not only has had a tremendous impact on overseas Chinese,but had an impact on overseas locals and culture.
