Study On Idiomistic Construction Of “Ye Jiu Yi X”

"Ye jiu yi X" is one of the constructions commonly used in modern Chinese.On the basis of corpus analysis,this paper mainly uses the relevant theories of Chinese idiomatic constructions to identify the construction of "Ye jiu yi X".From grammar,semantics and pragmatics,this paper uses diachronic and synchronic methods to discuss the construction meaning and the generation of the construction meaning of "Ye jiu yi X",in order to achieve in-depth exploration of the construction of "Ye jiu yi X".This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.This paper mainly introduces the research object,the significance of topic selection,the status quo and shortcomings of domestic and foreign research,research ideas and methods,and explains the source of corpus.Chapter two mainly investigates the structural meaning of "Ye jiu yi X".Firstly,the author identifies the construction of "Ye jiu yi X" and concludes that it is a construction.Its basic construction meaning is that the speaker makes a bad comment on someone or something.At the same time,combining with the context,it concludes that the construction also contains four sub-subjective emotional meanings: contempt,euphemism,self-humility and self-mockery.Through the analysis of its components,it is concluded that the difference evaluation meaning of its construction is formed by the integration of "ye" which is synonymous with the form,"jiu" which expresses the limited scope and has a subjective small quantity,"yi" which is express grammatical indefinited and "X" which highlights the negative evaluation and showed nominalization features.Chapter three is a pragmatic analysis of the construction "Ye jiu yi X".Firstly,From the Perspective of the context and presupposition,it is concluded that the Negative evaluation meaning of the construction "Ye jiu yi X" is formed under the influence of the inferior evaluation context and presupposition.Secondly,by analyzing the focus of "Ye jiu yi X",it is concluded that the construction has the functions of [+contrast] and [+prominence] in discourse communication.Finally,from the perspective of discourse,it is concluded that the construction has the function of opening the topic,inheriting the topic and summarizing the topic.The fourth chapter mainly analyses the formation of the construction "Ye jiu yi X".It is mainly divided into two parts.The first part is from the perspective of repression.It is concluded that the constructional meaning of "Ye jiu yi X" construction is produced by the two-way effect of construction repression and lexical repression.The second part mainly explores the evolution process of its structure from a diachronic perspective.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.This paper summarizes the results of this study,but also points out the shortcomings.
