In order to meet the current high demand for Chinese learning,based on the corpus linguistics,this paper proposes a design plan for the teaching lexicon of Business Chinese.First of all,according to the background study,I sorted out the relevant research on this,based on concepts and studies by other scholars,I built a foundation for designing the lexicon.Secondly,by using the method of corpus linguistics,I collected words for building Business Chinese corpus.The corpus comes from 10 commonly used business Chinese textbooks and three related websites.Then I re-processed the collected corpus by counting word frequency and weighting calculation for those re-processed corpus,then I selected the most commonly used business Chinese vocabulary and recruited them in my lexicon.Then I tagged marks on selected vocabulary which includes morphology,pronunciation,parts of speech,meaning and example sentences.Those tagged marks are the main parts for knowledge base of vocabulary in Business Chinese teaching lexicon.Finally,in order to apply it better to the real business Chinese teaching,I designed interpretation program and practicing program for the teachers,and exercises and self-test program for the students.Those programs are aimed to improve the teaching quality of the Business Chinese class.As an attempt on teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this paper hopes that the lexicon designed by me can be used in the real Business Chinese class and provide some references for the compilation of Business Chinese textbooks in the future.
