A Study On The Pengtian Village’s Diaspora

The purpose of this study is to analyze the historical trajectory of Penting overseas migration since the Ming and Qing dynasties,to analyze its population and scale,history and migration direction,and the relationship with the survival of Overseas township,including the "Pengshan Cai’s Genealogy",as well as field data and oral history.This paper makes a comprehensive use of the research methods of history,anthropology and sociology,on the one hand,to clarify the history of Pengtian,to find out where Penting from,where to go,and the scale of emigration and population flow,on the other hand,focusing on the livelihoods,organization and interaction of Pengtian discrete population,Pay attention to the new development of Clan network under the background of its contemporary globalization.The full text includes three parts: introduction,Subject,conclusion.The introduction mainly expounds the origin of the problem,the review of academic history and the content of the study,and the main body is the key part of this paper,from the perspective of the origin of the Saintian family,the discrete immigrants in Pengtian vil age since the history,the clan ties and organizational mechanism linking the discrete population,and the spiritual essence of the shape of the overseas township.The conclusion is the summary generalization of the main contents of this paper and the re-discussion of the problem of "nostalgia" in the discrete population of Pengtian.This study shows that Pengtian discrete population gradually plays an important role in the Philippines and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,and has an important impact on the local social and economic development of overseas China.Therefore,Pengtian discrete people also change in due course,actively integrate into the local community,and promote the harmonious development of the Chinese New Immigrant society and local society.
