Under the trend of globalization, the international competition is changing from military to science and technology to the field of culture. The exchange, fusion and collision of different cultures are getting closer and closer. While countries vigorously promote economic development, they also further expand the foreign trade of culture."The Belt and Road" strategy is a cooperative initiative initiated by China aimed at creating a platform for economic cooperation with countries along the routes and deepening the needs of reform and opening up,which helps to optimize the allocation and circulation of cultural resources between China and the countries along the routes. We will promote the innovative development of cultural trade. With the acceleration of "The Belt and Road" strategy,it has become the focus of various research fields to explore the optimal path of Chinese cultural communication and foreign cultural trade through the situation and trend of trade circulation between China and the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.China’s economic growth is largely influenced by the economic and cultural interaction of trade with the Middle East and other neighboring countries in Western Asia. Therefore, the border barriers in the Middle East,Western Asia and other regions have been eliminated and the Silk Road reopened. It can not only complement the resources of these countries, learn from each other, but also make capital investment and bring intoplay the spillover effect of culture and economy.Based on the current situation of cultural trade between China and the countries along "The Belt and Road",this paper deeply analyzes the flow of cultural products and services between China and countries along "The Belt and Road".The export of Chinese cultural products is more dependent on the developed countries with high income, such as Europe and America, and the international market of export trade of cultural products in China is more concentrated. From the perspective of the region as a whole,as the closest trading partner, the cultural trade volume between Southeast Asian countries and China is the largest in Asia as a whole.Secondly, the Middle East of West Asia is the region with close trade ties among the countries along "The Belt and Road",with 8countries in South Asia and 19 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. On this basis, this paper selects the cultural trade data of 27 countries along "The Belt and Road" from 2006 to 2016 in China, and uses the improved gravity model to demonstrate the effect of cultural trade between China and the countries along "The Belt and Road" route. The results show that economic scale, population scale, distance of economic system, common language, free trade agreement and other factors are positively correlated with cultural trade, while geographical distance is negatively correlated with cultural trade development. We should actively establish a free trade zone with other countries along the route, expandthe scope and field of cultural and trade cooperation through tariff concessions and the elimination of non-tariff barriers, and create a new pattern of all-round opening up.
