By discussing Chomsky's innate view of language and generative and transformational grammar, this paper explores the thinking and application value of Chomsky's linguistic philosophy for people at present.Chomsky's innate view of language and generative transfer grammar is the focus and difficulty of this thesis.Based on Chomsky's linguistic philosophy, this paper makes a concrete analysis.Paper will combine talent view of language to generate transformational grammar analysis, through the analysis of the critique of Chomsky language of empiricism view, discusses the Chomsky's talent view of language to the generation of his transformational grammar, finally discuss generative transformational grammar as well as the evolution process, theoretical content and practical application value,to Wittgenstein and Kant thought would be simply stated in this paper. The main research methods of this paper are the case analysis, comparative study and formal analysis on the basis of extensive literature reading.I mainly through reading the book,to understand the views of other scholars, establish their own research content and complete the paper, the process of language based on Chomsky's talent view to discuss the generation of his transformational grammar, from the linguistic turn of philosophy, and finally discussing Chomsky's language philosophy bring innovation and deficiency.Chomsky's linguistic philosophy did not seem out of date, with the development of The Times his talent view of language is different from Locke's "white board",also the difference between Kant's concept of the gift of pure subjective,Chomsky is with the aid of the story of "Wolf child" to analyze the objective fact, further shows that a person of normal intelligence,no matter the age,the differences between the environment and learning languages,by nature,he has the ability of learning a language,it is also one of the clear sign of people different from animals.Chomsky's theory of gifted language is to analyze human's innate ability on the basis of experience. The most prominent feature of Chomsky's generative transfer grammar is its trans-national nature.Although the grammatical structures of different languages have their own characteristics, what Chomsky discusses is a universal grammar, which is the commonness in grammar and is not limited to specific linguistic grammar.Chomsky's linguistic philosophy is still playing a role at present. On the one hand,it is conducive to providing effective language recognition and the construction system in the field of artificial intelligence. On the other hand,it builds a better communication platform for human beings in daily life. The possible innovations of this thesis are embodied in the above two core contents of Chomsky's linguistic philosophy: innate linguistic view and generative transformational grammar. The paper consists of six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction.Firstly,Chomsky's life is discussed, followed by a literature review, and then the research background and expected goals of the paper are discussed. The second chapter is the historical background of Chomsky's theory. In this chapter, first of all, from the changes in the science and the impact on philosophy, philosophy itself and the influence of modern logic in philosophy to analyze the linguistic turn of philosophy, then discuss from ideal language to natural language phenomenon and Wittgenstein said language game, finally discuss the proposed Chomsky language philosophy. The third chapter is Chomsky's theory of gifted language.By analyzing Chomsky's criticism of traditional empiricism, this chapter elaborates the content and characteristics of Chomsky's theory of gifted language, and then writes the grammar of generative transformation from his theory of gifted language.Chapter 4 is the generative transformation syntax. The basic concepts, theoretical content and application of generative transformation grammar are discussed in turn.Chapter five is the evaluation of Chomsky's linguistic philosophy. In the evaluation of the innate language view, the author first compares the innate language view with Kant's transcendental view, and then proposes that Chomsky's innate language view analyzes the innate ability of human beings on the basis of experience, and discusses the rationality of the innate language view.In the evaluation of generative transformation grammar, the role of generative transformation grammar in linguistics and philosophy of language is mainly discussed. Finally,I put forward several shortcomings of Chomsky's linguistic philosophy.Chapter six is the conclusion.I mainly point out my reflection on language and the possible development space of the paper.
