A Study On The Vocabulary Of Hexi Dialect In Tonghai County

Hexi Town is located in the west of Tonghai Basin,with a total area of 188 square kilometers.The Hexi Village Committee of the town government resident is 12 kilometers away from the county.It is the seat of the county government in the past and is one of the four ancient cities in Yuxi.The Western dialect of the river belongs to the southwestern dialect in the northern dialect.The dialect is rich in vocabulary and has certain uniqueness.This paper selects the Hexi Commune,the seat of Hexi Town Government,as the representative,and uses the dialect vocabulary of Hexi Commune in Hexi Town as the research object.It records and sorts out the vocabulary of the other side by field investigation,and lists the comprehensive and systematic on the basis of the predecessors.The Hexi vocabulary,which is based on speech,vocabulary is the focus of research,and a comprehensive description of the vocabulary of the Hexi language.From the paper,it is divided into the following parts:The introduction part mainly introduces the geography and humanities of Hexi Town,and then summarizes the status quo of the research and the significance of the research.Finally,it explains the method of collecting materials,the dialect survey partners and the style of writing,and lay the foundation for the textual explanation.The first chapter is the rhythm system of Hexi dialect.The system of the rhythm of the Hexi dialect was systematically organized,and the analysis was carried out from the initials,the finals,the tones,the rhythm and the syllables.The second chapter is the characteristics of the meaning of the words in Hexi language.It studies from three aspectslexical meaning,grammatical meaning and color meaning.The lexical meaning includes the difference of dialect meanings and the range of meanings.The grammatical meaning includes the combination of words and combinations.The meaning of color includes emotional coloring and stylistic colouring,in order to highlight the characteristics of the Hexi words.The third chapter is the exploration of word formation.It is carried out from three aspects: additional method,overlapping method and compound method.The fourth chapter is the rationale for making words.It mainly expounds the two ways of attribute arguing and rhetoric reasoning: attribute vocabulary is classified according to the attributes of things;rhetoric vocabulary is divided into metaphorical,borrowing and euphemism.The fifth chapter is an explanation of the ancient words of the Western dialect.This paper mainly explains the ancient words of some nouns,verbs and adjectives,and explains the inheritance and development of the ancient Chinese vocabulary to the ancient Chinese.The sixth chapter is the folk songs of the Hexi dialect.Including etiquette folklore,old folk customs,folk customs,and folk beliefs,revealing the uniqueness of the vocabulary of the Western dialect.The conclusion part summarizes the main points of this paper,and points out the shortcomings of this paper and the future research directions.
