| Genghis Khan Mausoleum in Inner Mongolia is a national 5A tourist attraction and the most concentrated and profound gathering place of Mongolian culture.Every year,the most sacred Mongolian sacrificial activities are held in Mausoleum of Genghis Khan,along with the visits of Mongolian cultural researchers at home and abroad,making the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan a must-see to disseminate the Mongolian culture.The scenic spot is divided into two parts—the old one and the new one,which are visiting area and sacrificial area.Mausoleum of Genghis Khan presents the grand style of the Mongolian in Yuan dynasty,and also shows the unique nomadic civilization of the Mongolian people.Skopos theory of translation solves the problems that other translation theories have not solved and frees text-centered translation.In the era of rapid economic development,Skopos theory provides theoretical support for modern translation.This translation practice activity is tourism translation.The difference in cultural and historical background is particularly evident in tourism translation.For foreign tourists,it is difficult to achieve the purpose of tourism translation.Therefore,Skopos theory is used to guide this practical activity.Under the guidance of Skopos theory,the author interprets the source language into target language.At present,the researches concerning the Genghis Khan are mainly about the tourism material,while the translation about the Genghis Khan travel speech is very less,thus it is worthwhile to do this research.This practice lasts for 3 hours,involving 15000 words,which meets the requirement of the paper.The introduction of the Genghis Khan Mausoleum shows the culture,special customs and the legendary hero’s life story in Mongolian history.At the same time,through the manager-assessment,client-assessment and self-assessment,the author analyzes the insufficient and defect in translation practice and hopes that this practice can report to Mausoleum of Genghis Khan cultural propaganda and translation,contributing to enrich the practical purpose of the Skopos theory. |
