Liu Yiming is a famous scholar of internal alchemy in the Qing Dynasty.His internal alchemy takes "Xian Tian Yi Qi"(the transcendence Qi)as its core and foundation,and reinterprets the concepts in the tradition of internal alchemy,trying to make the internal alchemy get rid of the tendency of simplification and becoming to Qigong,and restore its purity and transcendence.On the basis of predecessors,this paper will comb and interpret the theoretical framework and concept category of Liu Yiming’s internal alchemy.The paper is divided into five parts.The introduction mainly introduces Liu Yiming ’s life and writing,theoretical origin,and introduces the research status and significance of this paper.The first part of justice will introduce the core theory of inner alchemy-"Xian Tian Yi Qi".In Liu Yiming’s theory,"Xian Tian Yi Qi" is the origin of all things in the universe and the foundation of creation,emptiness and wonderful being are its basic characteristics.Liu Yiming described the process of the "Xian Tian Yi Qi" manifesting into all things in the universe and human life through Hetulu and Luoshu,and laid a philosophical foundation for his inner alchemy.The second part will introduce Liu Yiming’s concept and category of traditional internal alchemy,such as Jindan(the elixir),nature and life,material,facility in detail,so that Liu Yiming’s theoretical framework can be presented statically.In the third part,we will explain the four stages of the cultivation of inner alchemy,which are "building the foundation ","Huan dan"(returning to elixir),"Da dan’(refining the elixir)and "giving birth to grandchildren",so that we can understand Liu Yiming’s inner alchemy in a dynamic and all-round way.The fourth part discusses Liu Yiming’s evaluation of the cultivation methods of Taoism’s external alchemy,Taoism’s tantra,traditional inner alchemy and Zen,aiming to show the uniqueness of Liu Yiming’s internal alchemy and highlight the core position of "Xian Tian Yi Qi" in cultivation through a comparative vision.The last chapter starts with Chen Yingning’s criticism of Liu Yiming,to summarize and evaluate his inner alchemy.
