On The Style Of Tao Bowu’s Calligraphy

From the rise of characters to the evolution and development of c alligraphy,calligraphy and Chinese people’s life,culture and character have been inte grated.Calligraphy and calligrapher’s personality are closely linked.From ancient ti mes to now,calligraphers who can be remembered by time have their own artistic sty le.There is no lack of famous calligraphers in ancient and modern times,but there ar e few calligraphers who can integrate poetry,calligraphy and painting in Chinese hist ory,especially in modern Chinese history.Tao Bowu is one of the most accomplished calligraphers in the history of moder n Chinese calligraphy.He is a typical late form artist,especially with his own creativ e style and ideas in calligraphy creation.This paper mainly studies taobowu’s calligra phy style.Firstly,it introduces his life experience and learning process from taobowu’s learning experience.Then it focuses on the analysis of the characteristics of taobo wu’s calligraphy art,mainly summarizes the reasons for the formation of taobowu’s c alligraphy style,analyzes the causes from his poetry,painting and social backgroun d at that time,and through the comparison and summary with other calligraphers of s imilar types,it focuses on the analysis that his calligraphy art style comes from the tr aditional writing program,but can recreate on this basis Finally,it summarizes the va lue and influence of Tao Bowu’s calligraphy art.This paper focuses on the characteristics of taobowu’s calligraphy style.One is t o let everyone have a clearer understanding of modern Chinese calligraphy.The othe r is that taobowu’s learning from the ancients is not rigid,and his creative attitude i s worth learning.
