The Research On Zhuangzi's Body Mind And It's Aesthetic Significance

In the philosophical tradition,the body is considered to be an isolated body and is always in a tense confrontation with consciousness due to the influence of the mind-body binary thinking mode.To overcome the mind-body dualism and properly arrange the body has also become a matter that western philosophers have to deal with.Since the 1980s,body theory has become a prominent subject in the western academic circle.This trend of thought then extended to the domestic academic circle.Domestic scholars have interpreted Chinese traditional thoughts from the perspective of body.People gradually found that,different from the tense relationship between body and mind in western philosophy,the discourse on body in traditional Chinese thoughts naturally contains the ideological connotation of body and mind.Combing the body and mind in traditional Chinese culture is conducive to a deeper understanding of ourselves and to increasing cultural exchanges with the west.The study of the body dimension in Zhuangzi's thought is based on the exploration of human subjectivity in the study of Zhuangzi in ancient China.At the same time,the shift of body research in western philosophy in recent years has greatly promoted our attention to the body elements in ancient Chinese philosophy.In response to and in addition to the western philosophy,the domestic scholars,while focusing on the exploration of the internal structure of the body,have deeply explored the hidden mind-body interaction.In the end,Zhuangzi's view of body that body-mind integrity was recognized by scholars.Based on the frame of Zhuangzi's view of body including Xing,Qi and Shen,which is generally recognized by most scholars,this paper returns to the text of Zhuangzi and discusses the position and function of the body in Zhuangzi's thought from the two aspects of Zhuangzi's body and body thinking.Firstly,this paper explores the theoretical basis of the body in Zhuangzi's thought from the two aspects of the primordial nature of Tao and the mobility of Qi.Secondly,this paper investigates the connotation of the body in Zhuangzi's thought from the two levels of external physique perception and internal feeling perception.Thirdly,starting from the relationship between man and the outside world,this paper discusses the different manifestations of the relation between body and object in the two space-time dimensions of ideal and present world,and the solutions to this problem.Fourthly,from the aesthetic point of view,this paper wants to clarify Zhuangzi's life aesthetics based on the body,and to reflect on the intrinsic value of Zhuangzi's body mind.Finally,the role and position of the body in Zhuangzi's thought are summarized and emphasized.
