The Yi novels of Mao Zedong era refer to the novels written by Yi writers and other ethnic groups after Mao Zedong’s speech at Yan’ an Literature and Art Symposium in May 1942 and Mao Zedong’s death in September 1976.During this period, the main groups of Yi writers were Li Qiao,Li Na,Su Xiaoxing,Pu Fei,Long Zhiyi,Wu Qidala,Wei revolution,Zhang Kunhua,Xiong Zhengguo and so on.They experienced two social systems, old and new,and gradually grew into minority writers under the cultivation of the Communist Party after the founding of New China. They created and created under the guidance of the Party’s literary and artistic principles Consciousness and theme are consciously close to the mainstream literature, emphasizing that literature serves politics. At the same time, reality is also the greatest characteristic of their works, such as Li Qiao in "Life —— Literature Vitality" said "Truth is the vitality of literature ",so that their works have the meaning of folk custom, more real response to the Mao Zedong era of the change of political and cultural identity of the Yi region, and strengthen the ethnic identity, political identity and then to achieve the consciousness of the minority is the main task of this period, this article aims to reveal the construction of national consciousness in Mao Zedong Yi novels. The first chapter mainly expounds the occurrence and development of Yi novels and the creative characteristics of Yi novels in Mao Zedong era.The creators of the Yi novels of Mao Zedong era are divided into the first generation writers and the second generation writers, but this is not a process of replacement, and there is no big gap between the works they created in Mao Zedong era, which are all serving politics, and the main characteristic of the works is the truth. The Yi novels of this period draw close to the mainstream literature in the creation theme and consciousness, and also write the boundary of the marginal Yi area, portraying the unique social and historical features of the Yi area,so that the Yi novels have their own characteristics. The second chapter mainly refines the "boundary" writing of the dual opposition in the novels of Yi people during Mao Zedong. The boundary writing in Yi novels mainly includes geographical boundary, social and political boundary, cultural boundary and so on.After the establishment of New China in the form of literature, the Central Committee has made great efforts to break the opposition of objective existence politically and culturally, strengthen the national identity and political identity of ethnic minorities and then achieve the process of constructing the national consciousness of ethnic minorities. The third chapter mainly analyzes the growth process of the individual characters from the slave owner’s "production tool" to the national in the Yi novels of Mao Zedong era.The characters in the text are liberated from "tools of production" to independent "people" and then grow into Chinese nationals, breaking the state of dual opposition with the Han people, away from the political center into the construction of socialist society, and taking pride in building the motherland. It reveals the process of individual identity and national consciousness changing with the change of internal and external political and economic environment and the relationship between resource allocation and sharing. The fourth chapter mainly takes the ethnic emotion writing and the national image writing in the Yi novels of Mao Zedong era as the analysis object, summarizes the national consciousness construction of the Yi novels of Mao Zedong era. Before the founding of New China, the Yi people were in a state of self-rule based on several major slave-owner families. In addition to the clear geographical boundaries between the families and the frequent enemies fighting for territorial resources and slaves, they also had clear geographical, cultural and political boundaries with the Han people, forming a dual opposition situation. The situation was broken after the founding of New China, with ethnic minorities in the southwest The ethnic consciousness of the group and Han people has also changed. The original consciousness of "non-self" and "my clan" changed from ethnic group to nationality, and completed the construction of national consciousness in the marginal Yi area.In a word, this thesis will start from the boundary writing of the dual opposition of Yi novels in Mao Zedong era,and gradually analyze the process of changing their national identity and national consciousness with the change of internal and external politics and economic environment and the relationship between resource allocation and sharing after the individual and group of characters in the novels enter the new society.
