A New Study On Yu-kung Kao's Aesthetic Code Theory

Kao Yu-kung's “Chinese lyrical tradition” inherited and developed the topic of "Chinese Lyrical Tradition" proposed by Chen Shih-hsiang on the basis of Western modern aesthetics and structural linguistics.And he established an international and interdisciplinary aesthetics code theory.His theory not only brings a new perspective to the study of Chinese classical literature,but also helps the spread of Chinese culture to the outside world.The first chapter mainly introduces the academic background and theoretical basis of Kao Yu-kung's aesthetics code theory.He made a systematic theoretical construction on the topic of "Chinese Lyric Tradition" on the basis of inheriting Chen Shih-hsiang's theory.Therefore,this article analyzes the inheritance and innovation of Kao Yu-kung's theory to Chen Shih-hsiang's theory.And introduced the theoretical basis of aesthetics code theory.Kao Yu-kung's theory was put forward from the perspective of comparative Chinese and Western culture.His theory is based on "experience knowledge of experience".The language we are going to study is not analytical language,but symbolic language.The second chapter is an analysis of the theoretical framework of aesthetics code theory.First of all,the definition of aesthetics code is defined.Aesthetics code has narrow and broad definitions.We must first determine its concept in different contexts.The second is to introduce the classification of aesthetics code and explain the three levels of aesthetics code proposed by Kao Yu-kung.The most important thing is to give a detailed explanation of the aesthetic experience that the core of the aesthetics code theory.Whether it is the study of the creative process of art or the process of appreciation,the comprehension of aesthetic experience is the most critical.The third chapter introduces lyrical aesthetic and opera aesthetic,and tease the vein of the history of lyric aesthetic.Drama aesthetic can be used as a contrast,making us to see its opposition and fusion with the lyricalaesthetic.For the interpretation of the lyrical aesthetic,Kao Yu-kung not only constructed the theoretical construction horizontally,but also conducted a historical developing vertically to construct a grand theoretical system for the "Chinese lyrical tradition".The lyrical aesthetic also reflects the spirit of Chinese art.The fourth chapter focuses on the great influence brought by Kao Yu-kung's aesthetic code theory.His theory not only brought new possibilities to the study of Chinese classical literature,but also helped the spread of Chinese culture.His theory allows the perceptual nature of Chinese culture to be noticed and understood.But there are still some limitations in his exposition,which is also worthy of our attention and reflection.
