| This paper focuses on the great event of the Northeast Cultural Circle in the spring of 1949—— "Xiao Jun’s ideological criticism",through combing and investigating the cause and effect of "Xiao Jun’s ideological criticism",and pondering the eve of the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China,xiao Jun’s personal situation,experience and choice as a non-party revolutionary writer.After the War of Resistance Against Japan,Xiao Jun returned to northeast China and worked in literature and art under the leadership of the Propaganda Department of the Northeast Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party.With the support of the Northeast Bureau of the CCP,Xiao Jun not only raised his personal reputation,but also successfully developed his cultural career,setting up Lu Xun Culture Publishing House and founding Wenhua Daily.However,due to the adjustment of the policies of the Northeast Bureau of the Communist Party of China towards intellectuals and the changes in the situation in the northeast,as well as his increasingly rigid and irreconcilable relations with the Northeast Cultural Association and the Propaganda Department of the Northeast Bureau,the "Qin Youmei Incident","Wang Tong incident" and "Wenhua Daily incident" have been involved in one after another,resulting in a fierce campaign of "Xiao Jun’s ideological criticism" aimed at combating the "extreme individualism" in the revolutionary ranks.This article,based on Xiao Jun’s unique experience of ups and downs,and with the help of his diaries,newspapers and other first-hand materials,examines the historical details of his fall from a revolutionary writer to a so-called "anti-soviet,anti-communist and anti-people" activist,and emotional,attitudinal,mental processes.At the same time,from the tragic ending of Xiao Jun’s socalled "individualism",we think about the conflicts and contradictions between the individual and the collective,between the emotion and the system,between freedom and restraint,between the individual discourse and the revolutionary discourse,a better understanding of human beings in history and the Times of great change in which they lived. |
