The Study On The Illustration Of Person Nouns In The Dictionary For Learning Chinese As A Foreign Language

As an essential component of dictionary microstructure,dictionary illustration play an important role in supplementing and extending interpretations,showing grammatical features,providing pragmatic knowledge,transmitting cultural information.Which was attracted the attention of lexicographers and researchers.The commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese is a relatively authoritative one-language learning dictionary for foreign students at the junior middle school level.After publication,it is popular with foreign students and foreign nation students studying Chinese at home and abroad,and welcomed by teachers engaged in Chinese teaching.At present,the domestic research on dictionary illustration mainly focuses on the source,type and principle and method of illustration configuration four aspects.On the whole,the study of dictionary illustration has been more comprehensive,but the research on restricted part of speech of illustration is still relatively lacking,and some dictionaries still have a series of problems,such as old illustration,redundant length,single type and unreasonable design of difficulty.According to the important position of illustration in learning dictionaries and the imperfect configuration of illustration in the dictionary for learning Chinese as a foreign language,this paper takes the 65 illustration of personal nouns sampled in 534 personal nouns at The commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese as the research object,uses quantitative combined with qualitative,universal combined with special research methods to study the illustration of person nouns,and analyzes whether the number,type and length of illustration are reasonable in the dictionary,discusses the advantages and disadvantages of The commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese on the illustration of personal nouns configuration,and then puts forward some suggestions for improving the illustration configuration of the dictionary for learning Chinese as a foreign language.It is hoped to provide some reference for the revision of the commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and the compilation of other the dictionary for learning Chinese as a foreign language in the future.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter puts forward the reason and value of the topic,through the in-depth interpretation of previous research results,mining innovative points,clear research object and research methods.The second chapter systematically analyzes the theoretical basis of the illustration configuration of the dictionary for learning Chinese as a foreign language,and collates and induces the source,type and principles and methods of illustration configuration of learning dictionary.The third chapter fully understands the overall situation of the illustration configuration of the commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese,taking the illustration of person nouns in the commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese as the concrete analysis object,using the method of sampling statistics,aiming at the number,type and length of the target person nouns illustration to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the person nouns illustration in the dictionary.The fourth chapter combines with the advantages and disadvantages of the illustration of person nouns in the commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese,puts forward some suggestions for improving the illustration configuration of the dictionary for learning Chinese as a foreign language,hoping to provide some reference value for the research and compilation of the export-oriented learning dictionaries.
