"Variation" is one of the most important techniques in music development.No matter professional composers or amateur folk artists,they use them in their creation and practice.As a contemporary composer,Chen Qigang attaches great importance to the application of "variation techniques".His techniques are skillful and his conception is ingenious.The microstructure can be described as embroidery in a boudoir,which is very detailed.In the two orchestral works of The Lost Time and The Same Origin of Sadness and Happiness,the theme melody is the core element of the whole structure,and it is penetrating.The theme melodies distributed in various structures are obtained through various morphological variations and reconstructions.Starting from four different levels,this study analyzes in detail the various variation techniques embodied in the illustrative works,and makes a microscopic dissection of the variation and reconstruction of the theme melody.Specifically:The first chapter summarizes the composer's personality and events from the aspects of educational background,creation concept,value orientation,artistic achievements,style characteristics,and brief introduction of illustrative works,etc.,and understands the creation background and cultural genes.The second chapter,through the detailed discussion of the source,variation and reconstruction of the theme melody,fully shows the micro details of the composer's variation techniques.It also shows the construction form and movement state of theme melody in different development stages.This is the core chapter of this study,which reflects the composer's tradition of taking the lateral movement of melody as the most important means of structural music.The third chapter,through the research on the integration of tonality,not only shows the characteristics of neutralization between tonal music and timbre music,but also shows the expansion of thematic melody tonalityin a variation melody and reconstruction unit.The fourth chapter explains the unique voice structure of the national music itself by listing and demonstrating the monophonic texture in the whole work.Finally,the research results are outlined and summarized.
