Research On The Influence Mechanism And Intervention Of The University Psychology Commissioners' Helping Behavior Tendency

On the basis of peer counseling abroad and the actual situation of mental health education in domestic colleges and universities,a psychological committee system with Chinese characteristics was created.The psychological committee's main job is the process of helping others help themselves.However,most of the researches on psychological commissioners in China are theoretical researches,which are limited to the evaluation and training of excellent psychological commissioners.Research on their own psychological qualities and how to help others in real life and work is scarce.To reveal the relevant factors on the psychological commissioners' helpfulness behavior tendency and explore the internal mechanism of the influence can not only enrich and expand the existing research on the helpfulness behavior tendency,but also provide some reference for the training of psychological commissioners in colleges and universities.Centering on the core issue of "research on the influencing mechanism of psychological commissioners' helping behavior tendency",this paper carries out the following four studies:Study 1: to explore the influence of psychological committee members on helping behavior tendency under different situations of responsibility.Methods: 113 psychological committee members and 107 ordinary college students(nonpsychological committee members)were used as the subjects.Results: variance analysis showed that the main effect of situational responsibility and psychological committee was significant,but the interaction was not significant.Conclusion: when the degree of situational responsibility is low,both psychological committee members and college students show higher tendency of helping behavior.And regardless of the level of situational responsibility,psychological committee members have higher than the general college students help behavior tendency.Study 2:to explore the relationship between self-compassion,trait empathy,and help-seeking behavior tendency.Methods: a questionnaire survey was conducted on 192 college psychological committee members.Results:(1)correlation analysis showed that self-compassion and trait empathy were positively correlated with helping behavior tendency,while self-compassion and trait empathy were not significantly correlated.The regression analysis shows that self-compassion and trait empathy have significant predictive effect on the behavior tendency of psychological commissar.Conclusion: both self-compassion and trait empathy are predictors of psychological well-being.Study 3: to explore the influence of situational responsibility on psychological committers' helping behavior tendency: the mediating effect of state empathy and the regulating effect of self-compassion.Methods: 113 psychological committee members in a college were tested by situation experiment.Results: the analysis of the structural equation model shows that state empathy plays a mediating role between the situational responsibility and the helpfulness behavior tendency of the psychological commissaries.self-compassion regulates the relationship between state empathy and the helpfulness behavior tendency of the psychological commissaries.therefore,the moderating mediating model is established.Conclusion: the degree of situational responsibility can directly predict the helpfulness tendency of psychological committee members,indirectly predict the helpfulness tendency of psychological committee members through the mediating effect of state empathy and the regulating effect of selfcompassion.Study 4: to explore the effect of self-compassion group psychological counseling on psychological commissioners' helping behavior tendency.Methods: using the helpfulness questionnaire,194 psychological committee members were investigated,among which 44 college students with low helpfulness and willing to participate in this study were selected for group psychological counseling.There were 22 people in the intervention group and 22 people in the control group.The group counseling intervention lasted for 6 weeks,120 minutes once a week.Participants' self-compassion and helpfulness tendencies were measured before and after the intervention.Results: in the help-helping behavior tendency questionnaire scores,the interaction between the measurement order and the group was significant,while the difference between the control group before and after the intervention was not significant,while the score of the intervention group after the intervention was significantly higher than that before the intervention.Conclusion: self-compassion group psychological counseling not only improves the psychological committee members' helpfulness behavior tendency,but also improves the level of self-compassion.
