Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction(MBSR)aims to change the relationship between individuals and stressful thoughts and events by reducing emotional responses and strengthening cognitive assessment.The key to practice Mindfulness is to make it a lifestyle or principle close to life.There have been numerous studies at home and abroad on the efficacy of MBSR in treating various mental disorders and coping with physical or medical conditions.In the field of competitive sports,a growing number of studies are using mindfulness training to improve athletes' performance,flow,and reduce burnout,stress.Skeleton as a sliding speed event,is extremely fast and dangerous.The athletes need to overcome negative emotions such as fear and excessive tension,stay awake and focused enough,and devote themselves to training and competition,so as to achieve ideal sports performance.Founded in October 2015,the China National skeleton Team 's best result so far is 13 th at the 2018 pyeongchang Olympics in South Korea.The 2022 Beijing winter Olympic Games are both an opportunity and a challenge for the team.Young athletes often have negative emotions such as tension,anxiety and depression,and some sleep problems and interpersonal problems and so on.Therefore,sports teams also need the intervention of psychological intervention to help players reduce negative emotions,improve sleep quality,attentional control level,so as to achieve the goal of improving sports performance.Objective: study 1: to investigate the effect of MBSR on anxiety,depression,sleep quality and mindfulness level in athletes of China National skeleton Team;Study 2: to investigate the effects of 8 weeks of MBSR training on attention control of skeleton athletes.Research methods: study 1:21 athletes of the China National skeleton Team were trained in MBSR.State trait anxiety inventory(TSAI),depression self rating scale(SDS),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and five factors of mindfulness questionnaire(FFMQ)at baseline(T1),4 weeks after the intervention(T2),8 weeks after the intervention(T3),and 4 weeks after completion of intervention tracking(T4)for measuring,evaluating MBSR on athletes anxiety,depression,sleep quality and the level of mindfulness;Study 2: Numerical Cancellation Tasks and Emotional Stroop Task were conducted before intervention and after8-week intervention to further explore the effect of 8-week MBSR on the attention control level of steel snowmobile athletes.Results: study 1: by repeated measures of variance analysis,the results showed that trait anxiety,depression level and sleep quality improved with statistical significance.There was a significant increase in acting with awareness in the five-factor mindfulness questionnaire.Study 2: through paired sample t test,the results showed that after 8 weeks of MBSR intervention,the attentional control level of athletes improved,especially the performance of athletes with high trait anxiety was more significant.Conclusion: Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction training has a positive effect on athletes' trait anxiety,depression,sleep quality,acting with awareness,and attention control level.
