The Perspective Of Political Reflection Capitalist Image Study Zhang Wei’s Novel

Taking the image of capitalists(private entrepreneurs)in Zhang Wei’s novels as an entry point and combining the historical background of Zhang Wei’s novels,this paper makes an in-depth analysis and interpretation of Zhang’s novels from the perspectives of political reflection,reflection on human nature as well as realistic criticism.In addition,based on the above analysis,this paper discusses and explores the characteristics and limitations of Zhang’s literary creation.This paper will be divided into the following three chapters:The first chapter takes The Ancient Ship as the analytical example,which discusses the shaping of the image of capitalists in this novel from the perspective of politics.The major focus of this chapter is the images of the capitalist Sui Yingzhi and his son Sui Baopu.Starting with the background of the political experience of Sui Yingzhi and Sui Baopu,the author analyzes the typical image of the Suis as capitalists who bear the “original sin” and the historical position of the literary image of the capitalists bearing the “original sin” in the literature of the new period.Then,by analyzing the behaviors of Sui Yingzhi and Sui Baopu when dealing with politics love and relatives,the author reveals Zhang Wei’s unconscious expression of his attitude towards the “original sin” and class struggle.In fact,Zhang replaced the belief of the original sin of capital with the belief of class struggle,which is an inversion of the Marxist.Therefore,Zhang’s unrealistic and one-sided historical reflection can also be seen from the image of Sui Baopu.Taking the Family as the analytical example,the second chapter discusses the shaping of the image of the young capitalists in novels from the perspective of history and reflection of human nature.The author first explores the impact of the new trend of historical literature on Zhang’s creation of the Family such as the impact on his views on politics and literature,his political stand as well as his composition techniques and aesthetics.This chapter will analyze Zhang’s creation of the image of the capitalists of Qu Yu and Ning Ke by probing to the model of “going-out”,thecontradiction of different classes,the power of love and the betray of family ethic.Meanwhile,the author further analyzes the Zhang’s ideas on family ethic,morality and human nature as well as his elimination of the logic of revolution in this novel,which altogether reveals Zhang’s limitations of individualism and the bigotry of history when creating Family.The third chapter takes Neng Bu Yi Shu Kui,The Secret History Of AiYue Castles,Sing the Praises of the Hedgehog and so on works as analytical examples and discusses the shaping of the image of private capitalists under the socialist market economic system.Zhang Wei created a few private capitalists Chun Yuyangli,Chun Yubaoce and Tang Tong respectively in Neng Bu Yi Shu Kui,The Secret History Of AiYue Castles,Sing the Praises of the Hedgehog and so on works.Some of them started his own business with the tide of the reform and opening-up but ended up with a failure because of the bad performance of the stock market.Some of them plundered,threatened and did whatever he wanted under the umbrella of political protection.For example,he took advantage of the development of urbanization and forcibly annexed fishing villages while artificially confessing on humanity.Some of them built chemical plants,polluted the land,oppresswd the people,destroied the folk culture and lead the bad social atmosphere under the background of mercantilism leads the influence of bad social ethos.The time background in Neng Bu Yi Shu Kui,The Secret History Of AiYue Castles,Sing the Praises of the Hedgehog and so on work is typically reflect the market economy,at the same time also shaped the image such as to went into business,powerful and black evil type,show the author zhang wei positive reflection on the system and human nature.The conclusion part summarizes the significance and value of Zhang Wei’s continuous attention to the image of capitalists(private entrepreneurs)in his works in combination with the years when the works were published.The ancient ship breaks through the moral and human limitations of the reflective literature at that time by rethinking the class struggle,and promotes the elevation of political reflection."Family" deepens the force of historical reflection and expands the scope of historical reflection by reinterpreting the history of the red revolution.Zhang Wei is aself-conscious,sober,and socially responsible writer with the characteristics of grand narrative consciousness.
