Cultural teaching is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The development of cultural activities is an important way of cultural teaching and cultural dissemination.In order to improve the effect of Chinese cultural activities,it is necessary to introduce effective methods into the activities.By summarizing the previous research results,this paper finds that there are more and more practices of applying TBLT to teaching Chinese as a foreign language,but there are few attempts to combine TBLT with Chinese cultural activities,which provides space for the research of this paper.In this paper,the fifth grade students in the Confucius Classroom of Xingmin School are taken as the teaching objects,and the activities of "Dragon Boat Festival","Mid-Autumn festival" and "Spring Festival" are taken as the concrete implementation cases.By means of questionnaire survey and quasi-experimental method,the effect of the two classes' participation in the activities was evaluated.It was found that the application of TBLT in the Chinese cultural festival activities on the one hand avoided the blindness of the cultural activities and improved the effect of the activities.On the other hand,it enriches the practical research of TBLT.In addition,some teaching principles and Suggestions are put forward to guide the teaching practice of TBLT in Chinese cultural festivals.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the reason,research status,research methods and significance of the topic.The second chapter introduces the concept,characteristics and related theoretical research of TBLT.The third chapter is a practical study on the application of TBLT in Chinese cultural festival activities.Taking the activities of Dragon Boat Festival,Mid-Autumn festival and Spring Festival as examples,the overall teaching design is carried out and the specific implementation process is discussed.The fourth chapter evaluates the effectiveness of the combination of the two,and puts forward specific teaching principles and Suggestions.Finally,the conclusion and significance of this paper are summarized.The author hopes that this study will provide some experience for other schools and Confucius classrooms in exploring the application of TBLT in Chinese cultural festival activities.
