A Study On Teaching Chinese Negative Adverb Idioms As A Foreign Language

With the rapid development of China's economy,Confucius Institutes are blooming all over the world,and the demand for global Chinese teachers is increasing.As a teacher of Chinese as a foreign language,the author found out that foreign students often misuse the idioms with negative adverbs.There are so many problems in their learning process that their learning of the idioms with negative adverbs lacks efficiency.Based on this,the author did a survey of the mainstream textbooks of Chinese learning for Chinese-learning students and a five-month questionnaire survey on foreign students by means of questionnaire survey and statistical analysis.The author classifies foreign students' errors in the use of idioms with negative adverbs into four categories: writing error,semantic error,grammatical error and pragmatic error,the author analyzes the reasons why foreign students use idioms with negative adverbs and gives some specific teaching suggestions.The paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is mainly about the question,the object of study,the literature review,the purpose of the study and the source of the corpus,the second chapter is the comprehensive analysis of the characteristics and structure of the idioms with negative adverbs.The third chapter is mainly about the current syllabus and the survey results of the commonly used textbooks for foreign students,the fourth chapter is based on the HSK corpus to analyze the errors of foreign students using negative adverbs idioms and a questionnaire survey.The fifth chapter analyzes the causes of negative adverbs used by foreign students and gives specific teaching suggestions.
