In the process teaching Chinese as a foreign language, negative adverbs have been the important point .And because the oversea students who study Chinese used these negative adverbs wrongly, we regard negative adverb as difficulty. Thank to development of modern Chinese grammar, people have a deep comprehension about the meaning and usage of negative adverb such as"不"and"没"。But it is also hard to grasp all of item and usage of these negative adverbs for foreign students. In addition, some reference books, especially some dictionaries and books and papers for oversea students study Chinese, there are many explanation which is not complete correct. These reasons mentioned above have resulted in error in the process of learning Chinese to some extent.We want to research a group of negative adverb, the range will be limited in the Chinese Textbook with Degree Syllabus .these are白白,甭,别,不,非,何必,没,莫,未,勿,瞎. Research these negative adverbs from semantic character and pragmatic function, in order to get a comprehensive and profound realization. Meanwhile, I will discuss how to teach these negative adverbs in teaching Chinese as a foreign language both exactly and easily. Then combine the errors about"不"and"没"in the process of learning modern Chinese negative adverb to discuss some problems . At last ,I present some suggestion about teaching mean.
